Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe
Specify seamless manufacture under ASTM A312 or a named pressure-pipe standard, with the grade, schedule and test requirements on the purchase order.
See purchase specifications ↗Seamless and welded stainless steel pipe for process lines, industrial fabrication and international bulk supply. Specify the grade, NPS or outside diameter, wall schedule, length and inspection requirements for a tailored quotation.
Share your material standard and piping bill of quantities. We will check the requested grade, size range, manufacturing route, certificates, packing and delivery terms against the order.
Review NPS sizes and wall schedules ↓Tell us whether your enquiry calls for seamless pressure pipe, longitudinal welded pipe or appearance-focused mechanical tubing. Each is quoted against its own product specification.
Specify seamless manufacture under ASTM A312 or a named pressure-pipe standard, with the grade, schedule and test requirements on the purchase order.
See purchase specifications ↗Request straight-seam welded or electric-fusion-welded pipe with the applicable standard, weld class, testing and wall thickness.
Check applicable standards ↗For handrails, visible frameworks and other appearance-led products, specify tubing dimensions, surface finish and ASTM A554 where applicable.
Compare pipe and tubing ↗Provide your diameter, wall thickness, material grade and required welded-pipe class. ASTM A358 may be the relevant basis for electric-fusion-welded austenitic pipe.
Confirm your drawing and order against the product standard. The dimensions and finishes below are an enquiry framework, not an inventory guarantee.

UNS S30403
Low-carbon 304 grade for welded assemblies when specified.
UNS S31600

For ferritic-austenitic duplex pipe such as UNS S32205 / S31803, identify the correct ASTM A790 requirement rather than treating it as an ASTM A312 austenitic grade.
Material choice depends on the medium, chloride level, temperature, fabrication and project specifications. Submit the required grade and standard as written on your purchase order.
Material standards, delivery specifications and dimensional schedules serve different purposes. Choose each according to your project and test documentation.
Seamless, welded and heavily cold worked austenitic stainless pipes.
Electric-fusion-welded austenitic pipe; class and inspection must be specified.
Seamless and welded ferritic-austenitic duplex stainless steel pipe.
Standard NPS outside diameters and stainless pipe schedule dimensions.

Confirm the contract edition and project design code before ordering. Product scope differs among pressure pipe, duplex pipe, seamless tubes and ornamental mechanical tubing.
Use NPS to identify the nominal pipe series, then select the actual outside diameter and schedule wall. Pipe NPS is a name, not its outside diameter in inches.
Reference ASME B36.19 dimensions. Select a row to transfer it to the calculator.

Nominal dimension reference only; actual tolerances, minimum wall acceptance and availability depend on the named product standard. These figures do not establish pressure ratings or delivery stock. Verify the adopted ASME B36.19 edition and purchase order.
Estimate kg per metre and total shipment tonnage from nominal outside diameter, wall thickness, material density, pipe length and pieces.
Nominal mass (kg/m) = π × wall (mm) × [outside diameter (mm) − wall (mm)] × density (g/cm³) ÷ 1000.
The calculator assumes a circular pipe with a uniform nominal wall and the selected reference density. It is for preliminary quantity planning. Actual delivered mass and tolerances are established by the purchase specification and supply documents.
Send NPS, schedule, material grade, pipe type and total length. We can quote the actual ordered quantity, certificates and packing arrangement.
Pickled and annealed surfaces, polished mechanical tubing and machined or beveled ends serve different assembly requirements. For internal-surface requirements, include roughness, cleaning and passivation specifications where they apply.
Choose grade and pipe specification from fluid, temperature, operating pressure and the application code. Tell us where the pipe will be installed.
Specify material compatibility, NPS, wall and corrosion allowance for the design conditions.
Common piping enquiries include treatment skids, water supply and utility systems.
Provide the hygiene, finish and cleaning specifications for any product-contact application.
Pipe sections and welded assemblies for industrial equipment fabrication.
Confirm the dedicated material and design code for pressure and temperature service.
Appearance-critical mechanical tubing usually needs a separate dimensional and finish specification.
A line list or bill of materials helps us assess a multi-size quotation. Include each grade, nominal bore, wall schedule, length or number of joints, end preparation and required test documents.
Build a purchasing request around material documentation, batch requirements and export delivery—not a generic pipe listing.
Company-wide steel manufacturing scale supports coordinated industrial material orders.
Manufacturing information ↗Check requested stainless pipe grades, NPS sizes and schedules against current supply availability.
Inventory information ↗Specify the standard, certificate type, heat traceability and any additional testing on the order.
Quality control ↗Confirm pipe length, packaging, loading needs and delivery terms before production and dispatch.
Choose the product standard and production route first. Seamless pipe and welded pipe have different forming and inspection steps; the supply arrangement is checked by grade, ordered volume and dimensional requirements.
Define acceptance criteria at the quotation stage. The relevant pipe standard and ordered supplements establish the inspection and documentation package.
Specify the packing before order confirmation. Long stainless pipes require a loading plan matched to length, diameter, gross weight and handling conditions.
State your fabrication requirements on the drawing. Operations depend on the ordered grade, pipe diameter and service specification.
Review related pipe and stainless product categories when preparing a combined purchasing enquiry.
ASTM A312 applies to seamless, welded and heavily cold worked austenitic stainless pipe for high-temperature and general corrosive service. ASTM A554 covers welded stainless mechanical tubing for structural, decorative and other applications where surface appearance or mechanical characteristics matter. Confirm the product specification from the intended service.
Yes. State your required production method and its governing pipe standard. Seamless and welded products have different manufacturing and testing requirements; the quotation will confirm the available route for each size and grade.
Material choice depends on the fluid chemistry, chloride exposure, operating temperature, welding requirements and project code. Submit the approved grade from the design specification; do not select solely by a generic corrosion comparison.
They identify nominal wall thicknesses for specific NPS sizes under ASME B36.19. The same schedule does not mean the same wall thickness for every NPS. Use the size chart above to check a preliminary diameter and thickness.
No. NPS is a nominal size designation. For example, NPS 2 pipe has a nominal outside diameter of approximately 60.33 mm (2.375 inches), while the inside diameter changes with schedule.
Include the required certificate type, applicable pipe standard and tests in the RFQ. Heat records, testing and third-party inspection can be reviewed as part of the order agreement.
Send the grade and standard edition, seamless/welded preference, NPS or OD, wall schedule or thickness, length, total quantity, end finish, certificate requirements and destination port.
