ASTM B443 / HEAT TREATMENT
Alloy 625 Grade 1 vs Grade 2 Mechanical Properties
Mechanical acceptance depends on the specified heat treatment and product form. Use the matching grade when preparing your purchasing documents.
ASTM B443 Grade 1
Annealed · Hot-Rolled Plate
Hot-rolled Grade 1 plate reference values for thickness up to 70 mm, based on the published ASTM B443 mechanical table.
ASTM B443 Grade 2
Solution Annealed · Hot-Rolled Plate
Grade 2 reference values are for solution-annealed plate. Specify the applicable ASTM edition and heat-treatment condition with your RFQ.
Your ordered material is verified to the agreed standard edition, grade, plate dimensions and mill test results. High-temperature design suitability follows the applicable equipment code and engineering requirements.
